Pattaya is the cabaret capital of Thailand, and two theatres tower over the rest: Alcazar and Tiffany’s Show. Both put on a roughly 70-minute spectacle of elaborate costumes, big musical numbers and cultural set-pieces performed by a large cast. If you can only see one, here’s how to choose.
The 30-second answer: The two shows are close in quality — glossy, professional, family-friendly. Alcazar typically wins on more nightly showtimes and lower online prices. Tiffany’s wins on heritage and prestige as the 1974 original and host of the Miss Tiffany Universe pageant. Value and flexible timing → Alcazar. Iconic name and a sense of occasion → Tiffany’s.
Alcazar — more showtimes, keener prices
Alcazar sits on Pattaya Second Road in a large theatre seating around 1,200, and it runs the busiest schedule in town: four shows nightly at 17:00, 18:30, 20:00 and 21:30. That flexibility is a real advantage if you’re fitting the show around dinner, a day trip or an early night.
The production itself is genuinely spectacular — parades of feathers and sequins, K-pop and Bollywood numbers, Thai classical dance, and Russian and Middle-Eastern set-pieces. Ticket prices are usually the gentler of the two: often around ฿450–600 when booked online, though gate prices run higher. VIP seats put you nearer the stage; standard seating is first-come within your section, so arrive 15–30 minutes early.

Tiffany’s Show — the world-famous original
Tiffany’s, up in North Pattaya, is the one everyone has heard of. Running since 1974, it bills itself as the first transgender cabaret of its kind in Southeast Asia and is the long-time home of the televised Miss Tiffany Universe pageant. That heritage shows in the polish — many visitors describe it as the more “Vegas-grand” of the two.
Seating is tiered into classes, and the published figures do not line up neatly: TAT lists ฿1,000–2,500, while KTC’s Thai-resident promotion quotes ฿810–1,620 against regular rates of ฿1,200–2,800. Showtimes are 18:00, 19:30 and 21:00. You’re paying a premium for the name and the prestige, but the staging, orchestration and finale live up to the reputation.

- What to watch: higher prices than Alcazar, fewer showtimes, and it’s a little further north if you’re staying central or in Jomtien.
Who should pick which
- Travelling on a budget or as a family: Alcazar — the lower online prices and extra showtimes stretch further.
- Fitting the show around a packed day: Alcazar, purely for the four start times.
- You want the famous one for a special night: Tiffany’s — the heritage and grandeur are the point.
- First grand cabaret and you’ll only ever see one: either delivers; default to whichever is cheaper on your dates, since quality is comparable.
- Staying in North Pattaya or Naklua: Tiffany’s is closer; central and Jomtien guests are nearer Alcazar.

Booking and practical tips
Both theatres are easy to book online in advance, often with hotel transfers bundled in, and both fill up in high season — so reserve ahead rather than turning up. Arrive 20–30 minutes before curtain to claim the best seats within your class, dress smart-casual (it’s air-conditioned and can feel cold), and note that photography during the performance is not allowed. If you’re staying in Jomtien or central Pattaya, Alcazar’s Second Road location is the quicker trip; North Pattaya and Naklua guests are closer to Tiffany’s. Either show pairs neatly with an early dinner nearby, and the paid photo session with the cast afterward makes a fun, low-key souvenir.
