Phuket International Airport (HKT) in the north has frequent flights from Bangkok (about 75 minutes) and many international routes. From Pattaya, fly via Bangkok (overland is 10+ hours).
Getting around
Phuket is large and public transport is limited, so options are metered taxis, Grab (where available), hotel transfers, and scooter rental for confident riders. Agree taxi fares in advance, and ride carefully — Phuket’s roads are hilly and busy.
