Why the identity is unresolved

The name Akamon produces two plausible but incompatible Pattaya identities. A historical business-directory entry places a standalone restaurant at 464/19 South Pattaya Road and marks it closed. A separate hotel directory describes an Akamon Japanese outlet at Long Beach Garden Hotel in Naklua.

The old page placed Akamon in Central Pattaya without an address. That is not enough information to decide which business it meant, and joining details from both results would create a venue that may never have existed.

What the research supports

The historical South Pattaya listing is the closest exact-name match to a standalone Akamon restaurant. It provides a past address and telephone listing, but its closed flag means it cannot support a present-tense recommendation.

The Long Beach Garden Hotel result is useful for explaining the name collision. It associates a Japanese outlet with a different part of Pattaya and includes a published schedule, but there is no evidence that the schedule belongs to the South Pattaya venue or to this page’s original subject.

A map search and a second English/Thai exact-name social search did not produce a current, unambiguous operator identity. The honest status is therefore conflicting, not open and not conclusively assigned to either location.
