Pfälzer Stüble

Pfälzer Stüble is one of Pattaya's small band of genuinely German-run German restaurants — a cosy, wood-toned 'Stüble' (parlour) named for the Pfalz wine region, with a legacy in town stretching back over 15 years. The cooking is the point: a trained chef turns out proper Sauerbraten (the marinated pot roast that separates real German kitchens from schnitzel factories), beef goulash with house-made Spätzle, schnitzels and the expected roster of sausages, pork and German beer, with German-speaking owners front of house. Don Pepe

Don Pepe Tapas Bar is Pattaya's most serious Spanish restaurant, tucked inside the Central Pattaya Shopping Arcade off Soi Diana. Opened around 2020 in the premises of the old Calles Grill Bar, it does cooked-to-order paella, garlic gambas, croquetas and genuinely imported Spanish produce — Joselito jamón ibérico, Rubia Gallega beef — with a 4.5 TripAdvisor rating. It's a premium night out, not a budget tapas run, and it's famously hard to find on the first attempt.
