McDonald's

McDonald's needs no introduction, and in Pattaya it does exactly what you'd expect — a reliable, air-conditioned, familiar fast-food fix, open long hours and often around the clock. The chain has several branches across the city, concentrated where the crowds are: a couple on and around Beach Road (including a long-running branch near Central Festival and one at the Lido end that trades 24 hours), a branch inside Central Festival mall, and a newer beachfront outlet down in Jomtien, among others. Beyond the global menu of Big Macs, McNuggets, fries and McFlurries, the Thai McDonald's has some local twists worth a look: the Samurai Pork Burger, spicy fried chicken, rice-based meals, corn pies and seasonal specials, plus a breakfast menu at many branches and a McCafé counter for cheap coffee. Prices are higher than Thai street food for a smaller, more familiar meal — a value set meal lands somewhere in the low-to-mid hundreds of baht — but that's rather the point: it's consistency, clean toilets, air conditioning, WiFi and a safe bet for fussy kids or a late-night refuel after the bars. Delivery is easy through McDelivery (call 1711 or use the app), which many visitors use back at the hotel or condo. It isn't a reason to visit Pattaya, and you'll eat far better and cheaper at a Thai shophouse — but as a dependable, any-hour standby, the golden arches earn their keep.

Burger King (Pattaya branches)

Burger King runs several branches around Pattaya, operated in Thailand by Minor Food (the group behind the 1112 Delivery platform). The flagship for most visitors is the Beach Road branch at Pattaya Klang — a big, air-conditioned unit with sea views across the promenade — with further outlets at Royal Garden Plaza on south Beach Road and on Jomtien Beach Road. The menu is the global one (Whopper, chicken royale, nuggets, breakfast at some branches) plus Thai-market extras, and pricing is standard international-chain level: a set meal costs about what two street-food meals would. That is the honest calculus — you do not come to Pattaya for Burger King, but at 11pm on Beach Road with jet lag, or when the kids have hit their som tam limit, it does exactly what it says. Delivery is easy via the Burger King Thailand app/website, 1112 Delivery, Grab, foodpanda and LINE MAN, usually with app-only bundle promos that beat counter prices.

Hunger Pangs

Hunger Pangs is a burger specialist on Soi Lengkee in Central Pattaya, and a strong contender in the endless 'best burger in Pattaya' argument. The pitch is simple: 100% imported Australian beef, patties smashed and stacked to order, plus daily-ground Cumberland-sausage hotdogs — served from early afternoon until around 2am, which makes it one of the better late-night feeds in this part of town. The build-your-own format is the draw: start with a base burger and pile on bacon, cheese and extras, or go straight for the signature Pang's burger (double patty, smoked bacon, double cheese, around ฿179 at last check) or the triple cheeseburger (about ฿185). Sides split opinion — the Cajun fries and salted-caramel milkshakes get rave mentions, while the standard fries are the most common gripe. There's a small air-conditioned room plus terrace seating for watching Soi Lengkee go by. TripAdvisor scores hover around 4.0 with genuinely enthusiastic burger-nerd reviews; YouTube food channels have crowned it 'possibly the best burger in town' more than once. It's not fancy, and it isn't trying to be — it's a proper burger joint.
