The current Thai Wongnai record preserves Blue Olive as closed but still displays a 16:00 opening field and a 5.0 score from two ratings. Those residual fields are page-specific evidence of a stale listing, not a current timetable or recommendation.

Wongnai’s Thai Blue Olive Pattaya photo page still labels the record closed while displaying a 16:00 opening field, a stale directory signal rather than a usable timetable. The former Thepprasit Soi 8 building was later associated with Amber in 2018 and Meat Stuff in 2022, so the old Mediterranean-and-steak identity should be used only to distinguish the former premises from later occupants.

The October 2015 ASEANNOW discussion still described Blue Olive as open and directing customers to Facebook specials. That older claim conflicts with the current Thai closed label and the later-occupant reports; those reports date different businesses to the former setting but do not prove that the building is vacant, demolished or operating under Blue Olive again.

Status

The restaurant now appears to be permanently closed. The cited sources do not support treating it as an operating restaurant under this name.

The closure picture is stronger than a stale directory flag alone. An October 2015 ASEANNOW discussion still described Blue Olive as open and sending customers to its Facebook specials, which is useful historical context but not a current status check. The BigChilli’s 2018 review identifies Amber as operating in the old Blue Olive building, and Pattaya Mail reported in 2022 that the Soi 8 Thepprasit premises were then occupied by Meat Stuff and had formerly been Blue Olive. Wongnai’s Thai listing preserves the former Blue Olive identity and shows the venue as closed. The later premises evidence is stronger than the 2015 discussion, so these are historical identity checks, not evidence that Blue Olive reopened.
