KFC (Pattaya branches)

KFC is the biggest Western fast-food chain in Thailand, and Pattaya reflects that: a dozen-plus branches spread across Central Pattaya, North Pattaya, Pratumnak, Jomtien and Na Jomtien, from the Beach Road strip to Terminal 21, Central Festival, Big C stores and the Outlet Mall on Sukhumvit. The Thai menu is worth understanding before you dismiss it as 'just KFC': alongside the global fried-chicken lineup you get Thai-market exclusives like spicy 'Zaap' chicken, rice bowls and chicken-and-rice sets that keep prices genuinely low — a filling meal can cost under 150 baht, cheaper than most Western food in town and competitive with mid-range Thai restaurants. Branches inside malls keep mall hours (roughly 10:00–22:00). Ordering is easiest through the KFC Thailand app or kfc.co.th, which show every Pattaya branch with live hours and run app-only bundles; Grab, foodpanda and LINE MAN also deliver from whichever branch is nearest. It is a chain — the case for it is price, air-con, and total predictability.

Central Pattaya Food Court (Food Park)

A multi-counter meal stop inside the beachfront Central Pattaya mall, still widely called Central Festival. Compare the stalls before loading a food-court card, and check how to reclaim unused credit. Mall opening times do not guarantee that every counter is serving.

Hunger Pangs

Hunger Pangs is a burger specialist on Soi Lengkee in Central Pattaya, and a strong contender in the endless 'best burger in Pattaya' argument. The pitch is simple: 100% imported Australian beef, patties smashed and stacked to order, plus daily-ground Cumberland-sausage hotdogs — served from early afternoon until around 2am, which makes it one of the better late-night feeds in this part of town. The build-your-own format is the draw: start with a base burger and pile on bacon, cheese and extras, or go straight for the signature Pang's burger (double patty, smoked bacon, double cheese, around ฿179 at last check) or the triple cheeseburger (about ฿185). Sides split opinion — the Cajun fries and salted-caramel milkshakes get rave mentions, while the standard fries are the most common gripe. There's a small air-conditioned room plus terrace seating for watching Soi Lengkee go by. TripAdvisor scores hover around 4.0 with genuinely enthusiastic burger-nerd reviews; YouTube food channels have crowned it 'possibly the best burger in town' more than once. It's not fancy, and it isn't trying to be — it's a proper burger joint.
