It is tucked just off Beach Road and Second Road in the busy Soi 6–8 cluster of Central Pattaya, so it is an easy walk from a lot of hotels, and it leans on chefs who cook regional Punjabi recipes rather than a watered-down 'international curry' menu. Expect the classics done properly: slow-cooked black-lentil dal makhani, creamy butter chicken, paneer dishes for vegetarians, biryanis and a tandoor turning out naan and grilled meats. Prices are middle-of-the-road for Pattaya Indian — mains sit roughly in the 250–350 baht band, with breads and sides cheaper — and there is dine-in seating, including a family lounge and a covered terrace, plus takeaway and delivery. It is a solid, no-nonsense choice for a proper North Indian meal in the middle of town, particularly for vegetarians and anyone missing real tandoor bread. Note that Soi 8 is a lively, bar-heavy street, so the setting is more 'busy central Pattaya' than serene.

Zaika

Zaika is one of Pattaya's best-known Indian restaurants: a big, two-floor, 120-plus-seat place on South Pattaya Road opposite the Avani/Royal Garden complex, a short walk from Walking Street and the Beach Road baht-bus loop. The kitchen is North Indian at heart — tandoori platters, dal makhani, butter chicken, biryanis and fresh naan from real tandoor ovens — with long vegetarian, vegan and halal-friendly sections that make it a safe bet for mixed groups. It is a step up from a curry-shop in comfort (air-con, proper table service) while staying firmly mid-priced: most visitors report spending roughly ฿200–400 a head before drinks. Reviews across TripAdvisor and Restaurant Guru run strongly positive (around 4.5), with the service — famously fronted by the manager Mr Jain — mentioned nearly as often as the food. It's busy with Indian tour groups and Western expats alike, which tells you the kitchen isn't toning things down. Not a romantic splurge spot, but for a reliable, generous Indian dinner in South Pattaya it's hard to beat.
