Everest's Indian Restaurant

Everest (listed variously as Everest Indian Restaurant or Everest's) is a small, family-run Nepalese-Indian restaurant in Central Pattaya, tucked down Soi 10 between Second Road and Soi Buakhao. It's the opposite of the big tour-group curry houses: Mr and Mrs Pandey cook to order, portions arrive piping hot, and the room holds only a handful of tables. That intimacy shows in the ratings — 4.7 on TripAdvisor from well over a hundred reviews and about 4.6 on Google, putting it among the best-rated Indian kitchens in the city. The menu covers North Indian standards plus Nepalese home cooking: onion naan is a cult favourite, the paneer dishes and vindaloo get repeat mentions, and spice levels are cooked to request rather than dumbed down. Expect roughly ฿320–800 per person depending on how many dishes you share — slightly above bargain-basement curry-shop prices, fair for cook-to-order quality. The trade-offs are the flip side of the charm: it's small, service is a two-person show, and made-to-order food takes longer than reheated buffet fare. Worth the wait.
