Secure parking was available within the hotel grounds. These are dated successor details, not evidence that Henry J Beans survived under its old name.

The earlier Pattaya Mail community listing identifies Henry J Beans at the Amari Orchid and records Sunday Pattaya City Expats Club meetings with a buffet breakfast. It also describes a second-floor terrace and a European-and-Asian dinner format, details that help distinguish the former hotel bar from later venues at the same resort.

Henry J Beans was the Amari Orchid’s bar and grill. A Pattaya Mail feature describes the former concept as American-style, with Tex-Mex and Western food, Western entertainment and a buy-one-get-one happy hour. The verified history says it operated for about 12 years before the closing party. Historical Pattaya Mail coverage places it at the north end of Beach Road, records Sunday expat-club meetings with a buffet breakfast, and describes a second-floor terrace with sunset views and a European-and-Asian dinner format. Closure evidence and former location

The contemporaneous Hotelier Thailand report documents the closure and the hotel’s renovation plan. A current exact-name Maps search found no present Pattaya venue trading as Henry J Beans. The former location was at the Amari Orchid in Pattaya.

Pattaya Mail’s 2010 report says the renovated replacement was The Tavern by the Sea, retaining the horseshoe bar while adding a pool table and 14 large screens. Those are details about the successor’s first reported format, not evidence that Henry J Beans survived under its old name.

What replaced it

The hotel renovated the former Henry J Beans space and opened The Tavern by the Sea in April 2010. The Tavern is the record’s verified successor, but no matching page exists in the site’s collections, so this page does not add an internal link.
