What can be verified

The current branch is unconfirmed. A visitor report published on 6 November 2025 identifies Mama Pasta 2 near Soi Arunothai 2. It documents that reported visit, not today’s location.

On 7 September 2026, the Restaurant Guru listing displayed Mama Pasta 2 at 310/13 Soi Arunothai 2, with 093 490 3222 and 12:00–23:00 hours. Its URL still contains Cala La Pasta. This is retained as a conflicting directory reference, not qualifying operator evidence.

The ThaiThurkic directory associated the same name and phone with 327/155 Moo 10, Soi Bongkot 6 and 10:00–23:00 hours. The older Cala La Pasta directory URL redirected there. No operator statement was found explaining a move, rename, second branch or listing merge. Neither address is chosen as the current one.

The November 2025 report described tomato-and-basil spaghetti at ฿120 and Margherita pizza at ฿170. These are historical observations from that reported visit, not September 2026 prices. Its opinions about food and service remain the visitor’s own; this guide does not adopt them as an independent review.

No current operator menu for the exact branch was verified. Before planning a meal, obtain a current address or entrance photograph together with a dated menu. Confirm the restaurant name, trading hours and payment methods with that branch. The shared directory phone is an enquiry lead, not a resolved identity check on its own.

The older map point is retained for the Soi Arunothai record. It is not confirmation of today’s entrance. Do not use it to choose between the conflicting addresses without a current branch reply.

The Yandex listing retains its previous access date of 23 August 2026 because the September attempt failed. There is no evidence here of a closure; the hold concerns branch identity and location.

Pan Pan (Central Pattaya)

Pan Pan is one of Pattaya's oldest and best-known Italian names, serving the town since the mid-1970s, and this is its central branch. The formula that made it a fixture is unchanged: wood-fired pizzas from a traditional oven at the front of the room, house-made pasta and risotto, grilled meats, and — the part regulars rave about — a proper in-house bakery and gelateria turning out cakes, pastries and Italian ice cream. It's a comfortable, slightly old-school trattoria rather than a trendy new opening, which is exactly why it has kept a loyal expat and repeat-visitor crowd for decades. Prices are fair for the quality and the history: pizzas start under 200 baht, pasta from around 190, and main courses land in the 250–350 baht range, so a two-course dinner with a drink stays firmly mid-range. The gelato and dessert counter is worth saving room for and is a destination in its own right for many locals. Reviews are broadly positive but not universal — some diners find individual dishes hit-or-miss and the style a touch dated — which is a fair reflection of a long-running kitchen that plays it straight rather than chasing trends. For a reliable, central, well-priced Italian with genuine pedigree and a standout dessert case, it's an easy recommendation. There are sister branches in Jomtien and at Central Festival if this one isn't convenient.
