Mata Hari Restaurant is permanently closed. A current venue directory marks the former Nirvana Place restaurant closed, and a map search found no exact operating Mata Hari at the old Thappraya Road address.

Closure status

The status was verified on July 24, 2026. The former official site and older review pages may still surface, but they do not establish present operation. Dining hours, prices and ratings have therefore been removed. Recheck a current listing before treating the former address as an operating venue.

The address is retained only as an identity anchor: it distinguishes the closed Nirvana Place restaurant from unrelated venues using the Mata Hari name. The current closure signal and the old operating record answer different questions, so the historical timetable should not be copied into a visit plan.

What the restaurant was

Mata Hari was a long-running fine-dining restaurant at 482/57 Thappraya Road, on the ground floor of Nirvana Place in Pratumnak. Historical sources associate it with European and Thai cuisine.

Pattaya Mail’s 2011 profile describes a two-part room: about one third wine bar and two thirds restaurant, with a classic European interior, spaced tables and formal service. It names Indonesian nasi rames as the featured meal and records the old schedule as wine bar from 17:00 and restaurant from 18:00, closed Mondays. A 2015 Chaine Thailand event page independently places a Pattaya dinner at the same Mata Hari identity and Thappraya Road address. These are historical operating details, not evidence that the venue reopened.

What replaced it

No verified successor at Nirvana Place and no relocation of Mata Hari have been found. The page retains the former venue’s identity for search and historical context while making clear that it is not a current dining option. The former address is the ground floor of Nirvana Place at 482/57 Thappraya Road, which distinguishes the record from unrelated Mata Hari names.
