Toscana Trattoria Pizzeria

Toscana Trattoria Pizzeria — the sign actually reads Trattoria Pizzeria Toscana — is one of Pattaya's longest-standing and best-regarded authentic Italian restaurants, impossible to miss thanks to the giant Leaning Tower of Pisa mounted on its Beach Road frontage. It sits at the quieter northern end of Beach Road, with a breezy, open-fronted dining room looking out across the road to the sea. The kitchen takes its Tuscan roots seriously: handmade pasta (reportedly using eggs from the owners' own farm), wood-fired pizzas, ravioli, seafood spaghetti, homemade cold cuts and Tuscan-style specialities, plus premium T-bone and ribeye steaks, rounded off with proper tiramisu, panna cotta and house-made gelato. There's a long wine list, draft and imported beers and a full cocktail menu. Service gets consistently warm reviews, and it's the kind of place that pulls in both holidaymakers wanting a good pizza with a sea view and expats after a genuine plate of pasta. It's not the cheapest Italian in town — you're paying for quality ingredients and a prime beachfront spot — but it's widely rated as worth it. Open daily from around midday until late; the sea-facing tables are the ones to ask for at sunset.
