Where it actually was
Schnitzel Hans operated at 98 Thung Klom-Tan Man 9 in East Pattaya, commonly called the Darkside. The previous page’s Pratumnak classification was incorrect. The 2019 account says its earlier Drinking Street premises were abandoned because of high rents and that the later location was difficult to reach without transport. Mouseclick’s account describes German, Swabian and Thai specialities, while the older Facebook identity remains useful only as a historical name check.
That combination explains why an old review can sound more current than it is: the restaurant had moved, retained an exact-name social profile and was still being discussed as a destination, but later reporting described sporadic opening after the owner’s death. Google’s permanent-closure marker is therefore the point to trust for a 2026 visit.
What replaced it
No verified successor at the former address and no relocation under the Schnitzel Hans name were found. The page remains to document the corrected location and closure.
