The flagship for most visitors is the Beach Road branch at Pattaya Klang — a big, air-conditioned unit with sea views across the promenade — with further outlets at Royal Garden Plaza on south Beach Road and on Jomtien Beach Road. The menu is the global one (Whopper, chicken royale, nuggets, breakfast at some branches) plus Thai-market extras, and pricing is standard international-chain level: a set meal costs about what two street-food meals would. That is the honest calculus — you do not come to Pattaya for Burger King, but at 11pm on Beach Road with jet lag, or when the kids have hit their som tam limit, it does exactly what it says. King Kong Burger — trading in full as King Kong Burger & Steak — is a Japanese-run burger and steak joint on Soi Honey (Soi Honey Inn), the small connecting soi between Second Road and Soi Buakhao in Central Pattaya. The Japanese ownership is the tell: buns are baked in-house to a 'secret recipe', patties are cooked with obsessive precision, and the wagyu burger — moist, tender and repeatedly singled out in reviews — is the house special. The room is modern and air-conditioned with covered outdoor tables under fans for soi-watching, and it runs from lunchtime until deep into the night, which suits its bar-strip surroundings. Reviews across TripAdvisor, Google and Trip.com are strongly positive: juicy burgers cooked to order, fresh crispy fries, generous portions for the money and unusually friendly staff. Expect a few hundred baht for a standard burger and meaningfully more for wagyu and steaks; note the 10% service charge added to every bill, the one recurring gripe.
