Thai seafood and raw fish on Na Jomtien Soi 8

Tai Auan Ton Had Seafood, or ไต๋อวน ต้นหาด, is at the beach end of Na Jomtien Soi 8. The exact map and current May 2026 Wongnai branch activity agree on the identity and phone. The separate “Ton Had Restaurant” candidate resolves to this same venue rather than a second restaurant.

The documented menu combines Thai seafood and fresh fish with Japanese-style raw fish and sashimi. Shellfish and squid dishes are also listed. Beach-end seating is part of the setting, while a current report describes parking as narrow or limited. Wongnai displayed a 3.6/5 score from 41 ratings on 25 July 2026.

Tai Auan seafood price examples

Published examples include fish sashimi at THB 200, a shellfish item at THB 50 and squid in black ink at THB 180. Wongnai places the broader restaurant in its THB 501-1,000 per-person tier.

The low individual examples and higher spend tier can coexist in a seafood restaurant where order size, fish choice and sharing affect the total. They should not be averaged into one expected bill. Current market seafood, portions and availability should be confirmed. The page uses only the exact branch profile and does not import prices from the site’s other seafood pages.

No dependable current opening schedule

The accepted record does not establish dependable current opening hours. Rather than repeat an old or generic directory schedule, this page leaves the hours field out and recommends direct confirmation.

Call +66 94 778 2136 before travelling to Soi 8. The record remains medium confidence because the exact map and a current branch profile supply strong identity evidence, but broader independent current source coverage is limited. Visitors should also plan for narrow parking and a potentially higher total when ordering multiple seafood dishes or raw fish. The Soi 8 beach-end position is the clearest arrival detail.

Lungsawai Seafood

Lungsawai Seafood (ลุงสวาย, 'Uncle Sawai') is a big, long-running local seafood restaurant on the water at the far southern end of the Jomtien Beach Road strip, in Na Jomtien. It has been going for around three decades, and it's the sort of place Thai families and in-the-know expats drive out to rather than a tourist-trail stop: a large, breezy, semi open-air operation right beside the Gulf, with live tanks near the entrance where you pick your fish, prawns, crab, squid or shellfish and choose how you want them cooked. The cooking is classic Thai seafood done well and at fair prices — grilled prawns, whole steamed or fried fish with lime or garlic, tom yum goong, curried crab, spicy seafood salads and plenty of som tam — with the sea breeze and the smell of the charcoal grill doing as much for the atmosphere as anything on the plate. It's spacious with lots of free parking, service is quick and unfussy, and prices are reasonable for the quality: the big-ticket seafood is priced by weight, but a shared spread here generally works out well below hotel-restaurant rates. English isn't guaranteed among the staff, but there are picture-friendly displays and pointing works fine. Being at the southern end of Na Jomtien, it's a drive from central Pattaya — a Grab or your own transport is the easy way — but for fresh, honest, waterside seafood among locals, that trip is exactly the point.
