Stand at the mouth of LK Metro on Soi Diana and The Nest is the busy terrace you’re looking at: the ground-floor sports bar and restaurant of Robin’s Nest Guesthouse, a fixture on this soi for the better part of a decade. The formula is unapologetically classic Central Pattaya — ten screens running Premier League, F1, boxing, cricket and NRL; a terrace built for watching Soi Diana go by; a British comfort-food menu priced like the landlord actually wants regulars; and a proper Thai menu for mixed tables. Head chef David’s kitchen opens at 7am for the full-English trade and runs to half past midnight.

TripAdvisor puts it at 3.9 — the honest score of a good pub kitchen rather than a restaurant with ambitions — and the guesthouse upstairs (22 simple rooms from around ฿500–700) keeps a steady base of regulars on the barstools.

Menu highlights & prices

Unusually for Pattaya, The Nest publishes real prices, so this list is firmer than most — though it changes with the specials board (figures current as of the 2025–26 menu and listings):

• Full English breakfast — ฿195, served daily 7am–4pm: two eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, tomato, mushroom, fried potatoes, toast — including tea or coffee. One of the best-value cooked breakfasts in Central Pattaya.
• Sunday roast — beef, lamb, chicken or pork with Yorkshire pudding: Junior ฿249 (lamb ฿299), King ฿349 (lamb ฿399). Book-worthy on busy Sundays.
• Weekday specials rota (~฿250): Monday cottage pie, Tuesday beef lasagne with garlic bread or fries, Wednesday fajita sizzlers, Thursday pie-and-beer, Friday bangers & mash.
• Saturday BBQ ribs — ฿285 with chips, onion rings, slaw and a local lager thrown in; a BBQ corner also fires up Thursday–Friday evenings 6–10pm.
• Burgers — around ฿265, plus the usual pub range of fish and chips, curries and sandwiches, and a long Thai section.
• Drinks: Chang draught ฿99 a pint all day; Guinness pints ฿199 on Tuesdays; cider cans ฿150 on Saturdays.

Location & getting there

The address is 33/42-44 Moo 10, Soi Diana — the soi connecting Pattaya Second Road to Soi Buakhao — and the landmark could not be easier: The Nest sits directly beside the LK Metro entrance. From Second Road, walk in past Diana Inn and it’s on your left as the LK Metro neon starts; from Soi Buakhao, cut through by Tree Town and you’re there in three minutes. Any baht bus on Second Road drops you at the top of the soi, and every motorbike-taxi rider in Central Pattaya knows “LK Metro.” The terrace makes it a natural rendezvous point before a night out — or the recovery station the morning after, which is exactly how the ฿195 breakfast gets ordered.

Tips for visiting

Time your week around the specials board: Sunday roast is the flagship (arrive before 1pm or book — the King lamb sells out), Thursday’s pie-and-beer and Saturday’s ribs-with-a-lager are the best bundled value, and the BBQ corner on Thursday and Friday evenings is worth planning around. Breakfast until 4pm makes it the honest answer to a late Pattaya morning. For big fixtures — Premier League six-pointers, championship boxing — the terrace and front tables go early, so turn up an hour before kickoff. And if you’re eating after midnight, keep the order simple; that’s when the kitchen’s off-nights happen.
