King Kong Burger

King Kong Burger — trading in full as King Kong Burger & Steak — is a Japanese-run burger and steak joint on Soi Honey (Soi Honey Inn), the small connecting soi between Second Road and Soi Buakhao in Central Pattaya. The Japanese ownership is the tell: buns are baked in-house to a 'secret recipe', patties are cooked with obsessive precision, and the wagyu burger — moist, tender and repeatedly singled out in reviews — is the house special. The room is modern and air-conditioned with covered outdoor tables under fans for soi-watching, and it runs from lunchtime until deep into the night, which suits its bar-strip surroundings. Reviews across TripAdvisor, Google and Trip.com are strongly positive: juicy burgers cooked to order, fresh crispy fries, generous portions for the money and unusually friendly staff. Expect a few hundred baht for a standard burger and meaningfully more for wagyu and steaks; note the 10% service charge added to every bill, the one recurring gripe. Cards, tap-to-pay and QR payments are all accepted — not a given in this part of town. Among the fierce Soi Buakhao-area burger competition, King Kong is the polished, Japanese-precision entry.

McDonald's

McDonald's needs no introduction, and in Pattaya it does exactly what you'd expect — a reliable, air-conditioned, familiar fast-food fix, open long hours and often around the clock. The chain has several branches across the city, concentrated where the crowds are: a couple on and around Beach Road (including a long-running branch near Central Festival and one at the Lido end that trades 24 hours), a branch inside Central Festival mall, and a newer beachfront outlet down in Jomtien, among others. Beyond the global menu of Big Macs, McNuggets, fries and McFlurries, the Thai McDonald's has some local twists worth a look: the Samurai Pork Burger, spicy fried chicken, rice-based meals, corn pies and seasonal specials, plus a breakfast menu at many branches and a McCafé counter for cheap coffee. Prices are higher than Thai street food for a smaller, more familiar meal — a value set meal lands somewhere in the low-to-mid hundreds of baht — but that's rather the point: it's consistency, clean toilets, air conditioning, WiFi and a safe bet for fussy kids or a late-night refuel after the bars. Delivery is easy through McDelivery (call 1711 or use the app), which many visitors use back at the hotel or condo. It isn't a reason to visit Pattaya, and you'll eat far better and cheaper at a Thai shophouse — but as a dependable, any-hour standby, the golden arches earn their keep.

McDonald's Central Festival Pattaya 1

McDonald's Thailand lists one Central Pattaya mall branch as Central Festival Pattaya 1, with an official address, branch phone and daily 11:00-22:00 schedule.
