Ristorante Mimosa is a small, family-run Italian-and-Thai restaurant in the Chaiyaphruek pocket of Jomtien, a short drive inland from the beach. It's the sort of neighbourhood pizzeria expats guard quietly: run by Luca and his Thai wife, with an open glass-fronted kitchen so you can watch the pizzas going into the oven, and a menu that leans on decades of home cooking rather than tourist-strip shortcuts. The thin-crust pizzas are the signature — the house 'Mimosa', loaded with extra cheese, has a small cult following — and the kitchen makes its own pasta, sauces and desserts. There's a Thai section too, which is handy for mixed groups, and the house wine is priced kindly compared with much of Pattaya. Prices are gentle: most people eat well for a few hundred baht a head, which puts it below the beachfront Italians without dropping quality. On Tripadvisor it sits mid-pack among dozens of Jomtien restaurants (around 3.8 stars) — a fair reflection of a place that's consistent and good value rather than flashy. It's a locals' and repeat-visitors' spot more than a walk-in-off-the-beach one: a little out of the way, low on frills, but reliable, friendly and cheap for genuine homemade Italian.
