Wheelchair-accessible hotel rooms in Pattaya

Five Pattaya hotels list accessible rooms on their own pages, checked on 22 October 2026: Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya, the only one to list roll-in showers; Holiday Inn Pattaya, with grab bars and a handheld shower; Sabai Sabana, with a 32 m² wheelchair-accessible room; COSI Pattaya Wong Amat Beach; and Somerset Pattaya. A label is not a measurement: confirm the doors, the shower and the route in writing before you pay.

Source dates below are the original checks for the linked operator pages. They are not new room inspections or current booking quotes. Current rates and availability remain unverified; room labels and facilities still need confirmation for your dates.

Hard Rock’s rooms page checked on 25 October 2026 says it is completing the final phase of an enhancement programme. The completion date, affected facilities and effect on a stay were not established. Ask the hotel about your exact room, access route and facilities before paying.

Listed by what the hotel's own page says, not by a visit or an access audit, and in no order of preference. Each line is the operator's wording, checked on 22 October 2026; a feature the page does not mention is left out, not assumed.

Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya lists its accessible features under "ADA in-room amenities" on its rooms page, but does not say which room types have them or how many: ask for an accessible room by that description and get the room type in writing.

Holiday Inn Pattaya, an IHG hotel on Beach Road, lists its accessible rooms on IHG's accessibility page. That page does not list a roll-in shower; ask whether the shower is level with the floor before you book. Holiday Inn Resort Pattaya is a different hotel, and its accessibility could not be checked.

Sabai Sabana, COSI Pattaya Wong Amat Beach and Somerset Pattaya name an accessible room but publish no shower, door or bed measurements. Treat the label as a starting point and ask the questions below.

What one large hotel lists as missing

Hilton Pattaya's accessibility panel, on its hotel information page on 22 October 2026, lists accessible lifts and bathroom grab bars as available, but lists a mobility room with 32-inch (81 cm) clear doorways, an accessible public entrance and an accessible pool among the features not available. Its rooms page names no accessible room type. That does not make every part of the hotel inaccessible, but it means there is no published accessible room to book there; ask the hotel directly.

The ibis Pattaya page lists the hotel as wheelchair accessible, without naming a room or its features.

What to confirm before you pay

  • The room type in writing: the exact name of the accessible room, and that it is the room held for your dates.
  • The shower: level with the floor (roll-in) or with a step or bath; the seat, the grab rails and a handheld shower.
  • The doors: the width of the room door and the bathroom door, and the turning space beside the bed and in the bathroom.
  • The route: from the car drop-off to reception, the lift, and the room, without steps; and the way out in an emergency.
  • The pool and the beach: whether there is a hoist, a ramp or a level path, if that matters to your stay.

Ask for photographs or measurements when a detail decides the booking, and keep the replies. Accessible Pattaya covers the pavements, cars and step-free places beyond the hotel.

Questions

Which Pattaya hotels have roll-in showers?

Of the hotel pages checked on 22 October 2026, only Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya listed roll-in showers, with bath chairs and grab bars, without naming the room types. The other hotels that list accessible rooms do not say what kind of shower they have, so ask before you book.

Does Holiday Inn Pattaya have wheelchair-accessible rooms?

Yes, on IHG's accessibility page for Holiday Inn Pattaya, checked on 22 October 2026: wheelchair-accessible rooms, with clear turning space in the bathroom, grab bars, tall toilets, a handheld shower and a safety bar in the shower. A roll-in shower is not listed.

Is an accessible room the same everywhere?

No. Each hotel uses its own label, and none of the pages checked gives door widths or shower measurements. Confirm the room type, the shower and the route from the car in writing before you pay.
