Amari Pattaya is a big, well-run 4-star resort at the calm northern end of the bay, where North Pattaya meets Naklua. It's built around 339 rooms and suites spread across two wings — the Ocean Tower and the Garden Wing — with many rooms angling private balconies out over Pattaya Bay. The pitch is a genuine family-and-couples resort that still keeps you close to the city: two large outdoor pools plus a children's pool with a waterslide, a well-regarded Kids' Club (The Tree House), the maai spa, and a fitness centre, all a short baht-bus hop from Central Pattaya's malls, restaurants and nightlife. Dining is a real strength — Amaya Food Gallery does all-day Thai and international, Prego turns out wood-fired pizza and handmade pasta, and the poolside Aqua Eatery & Bar handles casual lunches and sunset drinks. Breakfast is a big, generous spread with a dedicated children's buffet. The trade-off is location: this is the top of the bay, so the beach directly opposite is the quieter Naklua stretch rather than a private resort strand, and you'll cross Beach Road to reach the sand.
