Rooms are simple but functional — air-conditioning, private bathroom, a work desk, wardrobe, TV and free WiFi — and the block runs to family rooms as well as doubles. Downstairs there is a hotel restaurant open to non-guests, with an unusually broad menu spanning Indian, American, Thai and general Asian dishes, plus a small bar for evening drinks. A 24-hour front desk and tour desk round out the basics. The obvious catch is noise: being this close to Walking Street means late-night sound is part of the deal, so it suits night owls far more than early sleepers. Nightly rates are firmly budget, often around 700–1,200 baht depending on season and room, which is the main reason people book — you are paying for a bed minutes from the action, not for polish.
