NEO Hotel is a small budget hotel of around 30 rooms just off Thappraya Road in Jomtien, roughly 200 metres from the beach and a short walk from the bars and restaurants of the Jomtien Complex. It sells on two things: price — rates regularly dip to the low hundreds of baht equivalent, among the cheapest walk-to-the-beach beds in Jomtien — and location, with Jomtien Beach, seafood restaurants and quick songthaew links to Pattaya all close by. Set expectations accordingly. The building is older and guest reviews are genuinely mixed: recent booking-site blurbs talk up the pool, balconies and friendly staff, while a run of Tripadvisor reviews complains about dated rooms, patchy hot water, weak security and maintenance that has fallen behind. There is no full restaurant operation to speak of; guests typically take breakfast at nearby cafés. It can work as a cheap crash pad for beach-focused trips where you are out all day, and the staff get consistent praise for friendliness. Travellers who care about room condition, or who are carrying valuables, should read the most recent reviews before booking and consider spending slightly more elsewhere in Jomtien.

Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel & Resort

Jomtien Palm Beach is one of the biggest and most familiar resorts on Jomtien Beach — a large twin-tower complex set in tropical gardens right on Jomtien Beach Road, with the sand just across the street. With more than 700 rooms it is very much a resort at scale, aimed at families, tour groups and anyone who wants a full-facility beach base at a keen price rather than a boutique hideaway. Rooms have been renovated in a blue-and-white 'undersea' theme and most come with sea or hillside views; expect comfortable, functional accommodation rather than luxury. The facilities are the real selling point: two outdoor pools plus a children's pool, three restaurants, a fitness room, spa and massage, 24-hour reception, and in-house extras like karaoke and bowling that keep families busy on a rainy afternoon. Location is central for Jomtien — a short walk to beachfront restaurants and the baht-bus route, and roughly 10–15 minutes by car to central Pattaya and Walking Street. Reviews are genuinely mixed: guests praise the position, staff and value, while others find parts of the resort dated and in need of updating, so it pays to book a renovated room. Nightly rates often start around 1,200 baht, which is strong value for a beachfront resort of this size.

View Talay 7

View Talay 7 is one of the View Talay family of condominium towers that line Jomtien, and the one closest to the quieter Dongtan Beach end. It is not a conventional hotel: it is a 27-storey residential block of hundreds of privately owned studios and one-bedroom apartments, many of which individual owners and small agencies rent out by the night, week or month. That means the 'hotel' experience is inconsistent by design — one unit might be a smartly renovated studio with a sea-view balcony, the next a dated, functional room with mismatched furniture — but it also means space, kitchens and prices that undercut most branded hotels. Shared facilities include a swimming pool, 24-hour reception and security, and lifts that can queue at peak times in a building this size. The location is the real draw: a short walk to Dongtan Beach and the northern end of Jomtien Beach Road, with restaurants, massage shops and the Jomtien Complex close by, and Walking Street a 10-minute drive north. Nightly rates typically run from roughly 1,300 baht for a simple studio; longer stays are far cheaper, with monthly rents commonly quoted between about 15,000 and 40,000 baht, and more for larger, renovated units.
