Midtown Hotel — also known as Mid Town Inn — was a long-running budget hotel in South Pattaya, a short walk from Walking Street and Pattaya Beach. It traded on price and position: simple, cheap rooms (from around 700 baht including breakfast) and a small pool.

The surviving hotel listing gives the former address as 373/1 Phatumnuk Road and the property as a 17-room inn with a pool, parking and 24-hour front desk. These are historical facilities, not evidence of a current hotel. A 2015 guest report described a 1,100-baht night including a cooked-to-order breakfast, while older promotional text used a 700-baht starting point; the different dated prices should not be read as today’s rate.

Status — appears closed

As of our latest check, it doesn’t appear to be operating:

• The official website (midtownpattaya.com) is offline and returns no content.
• Online bookings for the closely-named Mid Town Inn are disabled.
• Guest reviews report the building was demolished, with a replacement hotel planned for the site but not yet built.

A Russian travel-industry construction bulletin still listed Mid Town Inn as closed for reconstruction in 2019, but it did not establish that a replacement ever opened. Combined with the demolition report and disabled booking trail, that leaves no verified operating property under this name.

We can’t verify that it is trading, so this entry is clearly flagged as closed/unverified and does not list rooms or rates that may no longer exist.

The record resolves into a historical identity rather than a booking trail: the former listing gives 373/1 Phatumnuk Road, 17 rooms and the pool, while dated references give 700 baht including breakfast and 1,100 baht with a cooked-to-order breakfast. Agoda’s disabled booking state, the demolition report and the 2019 reconstruction notice provide no evidence that a replacement opened under the Midtown or Mid Town Inn name.
