Wave Hotel Pattaya is a small, design-led boutique hotel on Beach Road in the heart of downtown Pattaya, and part of the respected Thai Sukosol Hotels group. Its calling card is style: an 18-room Art Deco property that channels 1940s Miami, from the aquamarine facade to the vintage pink Cadillac parked outside and a lobby stuffed with Americana — old projectors, cabinet radios, barber chairs. Inside are individually styled rooms, an outdoor pool and terrace, and the Cadillac Cafe, whose à la carte breakfast (cooked to order rather than a mass buffet) is the single thing guests rave about most, alongside genuinely warm, attentive service. The location is prime: it sits right on the beachfront boulevard, a short stroll from restaurants, bars, malls and the beach itself. That central position is also the main trade-off — this is a busy stretch of Beach Road, and light-sleeping guests do report traffic noise at night, so a higher or rear-facing room is worth requesting. It's a boutique experience rather than a big resort: no sprawling grounds or endless facilities, but a stylish, personable, well-run base with a strong sense of character.
