Rooms go for roughly US$20–25 a night, and at that price you get exactly what you'd expect: clean, basic, older rooms that do the job for sleeping off a night out rather than lounging in. Light sleepers should pack earplugs — this block sits in the middle of the bar district and stays lively late. It suits solo travellers and nightlife-first veterans far better than families or anyone wanting resort trimmings.
