Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya

The Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya is the global music brand's buzzy, family-friendly beachfront hotel on Beach Road, right in the middle of central Pattaya. Its signature is one of the biggest and most fun pools in the city — a huge free-form lagoon pool with a sandy 'beach' edge and a waterslide, so kids can paddle in from a shallow shore while parents lounge. Inside, the rock theme runs throughout: memorabilia on the walls, a Rock Shop, the Rock Spa, a well-equipped gym, and regular live gigs and events that give the place its lively, party-friendly energy. Rooms span Deluxe and Deluxe Balcony categories, exclusive Rock Royalty City-View and Sea-View rooms with club privileges, and a range of family and premium suites — Silver, Gold and Platinum Family Suites (some with bunk-bed zones for kids) up to the Rock Star Suite. There's a Roxity Kids Club to keep younger guests busy. The location is the other big draw: it's beachfront and walkable to Central Festival mall, restaurants and the nightlife, so you're in the thick of things. That central buzz is also the trade-off — it's lively rather than tranquil, room quality can vary, and the public beach across the road is the busy city stretch. For families and groups who want energy, a great pool and a central address, it's a strong-value 5-star.

Nova Park

A suite-style hotel on Soi Sukrudee (better known as Soi AR) in the heart of Central Pattaya, a short walk from Soi Buakhao. Its 94 rooms are really small apartments — studios up to two-bedroom suites running 42 to 109 square metres — which, with the pool, jacuzzi and gym, is why it attracts so many repeat visitors and long-stayers. The trade-off is the location's nightlife noise and service that reviews describe as inconsistent.
