It is opposite Pattaya City Hospital, down the short lane between the Mai Thai motorbike shops off Soi Buakhao. The side-street position makes the room calmer than an open-front bar on the main road, but first-time visitors can walk past the entrance.

Sport is the main reason to come. Multiple LCD screens carry international fixtures, including football, rugby, AFL, NRL, motorsport and other major events. Staff can place different games on separate screens when schedules allow. Two eight-foot Rasson Ox Competition pool tables provide more than a token bar game, and the Winmau Unicorn dartboard supports casual play. Regular killer-pool sessions add a social reason to visit even when no major match is on.

Drinks, food and the daytime advantage

The pub opens 11:00-02:00 daily, making it useful for afternoon sport as well as late games. Its published happy-hour offer runs until 18:00, with local bottled beers at 69 THB and imported bottles at 79 THB. Thatchers Gold has been promoted at 169 THB a pint, while Guinness, Chang draught and other offers rotate by day. Confirm the board before ordering because these promotions can change.

Food is more substantial than snacks. The restaurant serves British and Thai dishes for lunch and dinner, and current promotions have included Friday fish and chips with peas and tartare sauce for 139 THB. Visitor feedback repeatedly mentions the combination of food, cold beer and sport rather than a nightlife show. The fully enclosed, air-conditioned room is a real benefit in hot weather, though the same enclosure amplifies noise when a final or pool event fills the pub.

Staying upstairs and deciding whether it fits

Rental rooms sit above the bar and include air conditioning, a balcony, private bathroom, television, kettle, wardrobe and Wi-Fi. Booking.com lists the property as adults only, with a 1,000 THB refundable cash damage deposit and no cots or extra beds. That setup is convenient for nightlife-focused travellers but unsuitable for families or anyone sensitive to late pub noise.

Pool players, expats following overseas sport and visitors who want an inexpensive meal with a match have the clearest reason to choose this place. Drivers should not expect generous parking in the narrow lane; walking or a motorcycle taxi is easier. The combination of serious games equipment, broad match coverage, food and transparent early drink deals makes it one of the more complete sports-pub options around Soi Buakhao.
