A former low-price stop in Jomtien Complex
Fantasy Bar is a historical Jomtien Complex venue. A June 2007 account said it had opened only a few months earlier and described large leather sofas, air conditioning, low music and an inexpensive drinks list. In November 2010, another visitor directed travellers to the main Jomtien Complex near the Hanuman statue, then right for roughly 100 yards to find the bar.
The location matters because “Fantasy Bar” is a common name. This record concerns the Jomtien Complex venue near Thappraya Road, not similarly named bars elsewhere in Pattaya or Thailand.
Former layout and prices
Accounts from 2007 through 2011 consistently describe a lounge-like indoor room and a separate outdoor smoking area. The reported furnishings included leather sofas, while drink-focused visitors mentioned beer, wine and a wide spirit selection. The stated prices were notably low at the time: posts in 2007 and 2010 mention ฿40 drinks, but those figures are historical snapshots and not a present-day price guide.
A 2016 sale report, not a closure verdict
In April 2016, a Jomtien Complex discussion said the owner had put Fantasy Bar up for sale, reportedly at ฿30 million. That is the latest opened status-related evidence in this run. It suggests the venue may have changed hands, but does not establish closure, reopening or current ownership.
For visitors today, do not make a dedicated trip based on the old price or layout. Use a current local listing first. This page is most useful for identifying the former Jomtien Complex bar behind older references to cheap wine, air conditioning and the outdoor terrace.
