The cost is noise: this is accommodation inside the evening, not a quiet base beside it.

The bar opens at 10:00, much earlier than most of the surrounding nightlife. That gives it two distinct moods. Daytime is the easier window for watching sport, playing pool or having a drink without a full late-night crowd. The energy changes after dark as the lane fills. Staff socialise with customers and drink invitations are part of the format, so it is better understood as a sociable hostess bar with sports and pool than as a conventional British pub.

Food is available, although the operator describes it as affordable bar food and snacks rather than a restaurant programme. Anyone planning dinner has a much wider choice on nearby Soi Buakhao, while the bar is the more natural place to return for a match or a game afterward.

Drinks, pool and the rooms upstairs

Two advertised offers use different time windows. The official site promotes happy hour every day from 10:00 to 19:00. cheersPattaya separately lists selected bottled beers and house spirits at ฿55 from 22:00 to 03:00, plus Stella Artois bottles at ฿80. They may run alongside each other, but neither promotion is a complete drinks menu. Look at the board or ask the price before ordering instead of assuming every beer or spirit qualifies.

Wednesday is the clearest recurring event. A listed Killer Pool game starts at 20:00 with ฿100 entry, the entry pot going to the winner and an additional ฿500 bar voucher for the champion. Walk-ins are invited. The table is also useful outside the tournament, although a busy event night is not the moment to expect uninterrupted casual games. Sports screens and Guinness broaden the appeal for visitors who want an activity rather than hours of bar conversation.

The guesthouse side is practical but lightly documented. The operator accepts direct enquiries and publishes no live room tariff, so rates must be checked for actual dates. A 2018 guest account described spacious rooms, balconies, large refrigerators and walk-in showers at the time, while also warning that LK Metro music continued until roughly 02:00 or 02:30. That account is helpful history, not a guarantee that every present room has the same fittings. Ask specifically about the room category, current amenities and whether the room faces the lane.

Those details make the rooms more plausible for a nightlife-focused longer stay than a bare crash pad, particularly when refrigerator space and a balcony matter. They also make a pre-booking conversation essential: confirm which fittings belong to the actual room offered, whether cleaning is included and how upstairs access works before paying.

Arrival rules matter more than they would at a normal hotel. The property says there is no reception after 03:00. An initial check-in later than that needs confirmation, and staff can arrange a key safe for an approved out-of-hours arrival. Do not land after a late flight and assume somebody will be behind a hotel desk. Contact the bar first, keep the confirmation, and have the key instructions available offline.

Light sleepers should look beyond the convenience of the address. A rear room may reduce the direct impact, but it cannot turn an LK Metro guesthouse into a quiet resort. Stairs, room access and current housekeeping arrangements are not described clearly enough online to promise them. The honest fit for a night on the soi

This is a strong match for a solo traveler or couple who plans to stay out late, likes sociable bars and values being able to walk upstairs at the end of the night. It also works as an easy daytime stop for sport and pool, especially before the lane reaches full volume. The drink promotions can be good value, but the current board—not an old screenshot—should settle the bill.

It is a poor accommodation choice for early sleepers, families, or anyone expecting a staffed hotel reception and clearly standardised rooms. As a bar, it is direct and convenient; as a guesthouse, its greatest advantage and greatest weakness are the same address. Book it when being inside LK Metro is the purpose of the trip, not when the lane is merely somewhere you might visit once.
