Happiness Star Bar

Happiness Star Bar is closed. Pattaya Life identified it as the largest bar complex on Soi 7 when reporting that the former premises had been screened off and left derelict during redevelopment.

That report was published on 24 December 2020 and described the structure covered with netting while nearby bar frames were being dismantled. It is dated closure evidence, not a claim about every business now operating on Soi 7.

The historical Google listing helps distinguish this venue from similarly named bars, but it is not evidence of renewed operation. No current source found in this run showed Happiness Star trading again under the same name.

A second Pattaya Life visit published on 3 April 2021 still found the large Happiness premises covered and reported no sign of reopening. That later observation strengthens the closure timeline without establishing what occupies the site now.

Why the two dates matter

The December 2020 and April 2021 reports are separate observations more than three months apart. The first documented screening and dismantling activity around the former complex; the second found the Happiness structure still covered. Together they support a sustained closure, rather than a conclusion drawn from a single quiet night. Neither report verifies a successor, so this page does not assign the old site to a current Soi 7 business.

The April 2021 street context

The follow-up did not infer closure from an empty street alone. It reported only about five or six bars operating across Soi 7 at the time, noted that many others were offered for sale, and separately observed the large Happiness premises still covered with no sign of reopening. That distinction matters because limited activity elsewhere on the soi did not amount to activity inside this specific complex.

The dated sequence is unusually clear for a closed bar record: Pattaya Life’s first observation was published on 24 December 2020, and its return was published on 3 April 2021. The later article therefore does more than repeat an undated directory status; it records another site observation after the calendar had moved into a new year.

The final withdrawal

A third Pattaya Life report, published on 7 October 2021, described the Happiness Star premises as emptied out after equipment had remained inside during the earlier closure. That gives the record a three-stage sequence: screened in December 2020, still covered in April 2021, then emptied by October.
