Pattaya Mail’s June 2011 Jomtien 8-ball standings list Hot Legs after five matches, with two wins and three losses. The fixture list records a close 7-8 result against Olivers Bar. This is solid evidence that the original venue participated in the local pool scene, but it is old evidence: it does not confirm a current table, team or opening time.
Later same-name references
The story is not a simple closure. A 2024 ASEAN NOW discussion says that one person later opened a Hot Legs bar “round the corner”, while an accommodation listing currently includes Hot Legs Sports Bar among nearby Thappraya Road businesses. Those references could point to a successor or a different venue using the same name. Neither identifies the old operator or gives an address that proves continuity.
Practical recommendation
For old Jomtien Complex searches, this is the right historical Hot Legs record. For a current drink or game of pool, do not rely on the 2011 league report or 2012 closure note alone. Check the current business name at the intended location and choose from a venue with a present, direct listing.
