A smaller alternative to LK Metro’s stage clubs

Jibby’s Bar is a compact, air-conditioned hostess beer bar at 33/122 Soi LK Metro. It opened in September 2017 and has remained a beer-bar alternative to the street’s larger go-go rooms. There is no main dance stage or scheduled show; the appeal is a drink, conversation, simple games and a cooler indoor setting.

The room consists of a bar with close-set tables and chairs. That layout feels sociable when trade is moderate but cramped during peak LK Metro hours. Air conditioning is a genuine advantage over open-front beer bars, and current venue listings also note pool, darts and Thai food. Background music supports the atmosphere rather than becoming the reason to visit. Travellers who want a full production, live band or dance floor should choose another venue.

The early deal and sober option

Current hours are 16:30-03:00 daily. The useful value window is 17:00-19:00, when local beers are advertised at 65 THB. Heineken 0.0 is specifically available, an uncommon but welcome option for a non-drinker joining friends on LK Metro. No complete current menu is public, and the 65 THB promotion does not apply to drinks bought for staff.

This is a hostess bar, so a server may invite you to buy a higher-priced staff drink. It is optional. Ask the price first, decline plainly if you are not interested and check each item on the tab. Independent descriptions characterise the room as low-key, while visitor comments praise its atmosphere and smoke-free comfort. Those impressions are useful context, not a promise that every shift will feel the same.

Plan for a compact, sociable stop

The central position makes the bar easy to include before or after another LK Metro venue. Soi Buakhao and Soi Diana are only a short walk away, and a car is unnecessary. Arrive near the start of happy hour for easier seating and the published beer price; later in the evening, foot traffic and surrounding music increase substantially.

The strongest fit is a solo traveller or small group wanting air conditioning, inexpensive early beer and conversation without a go-go show.
