What Leo Blues Bar was

The long-running Naklua venue was associated with blues and rock music. Historical reports place it first on Naklua Soi 18 and later near the far end of Soi 16. A surviving directory has no current hours and says its visitor impressions are about nine years old.

Closure evidence and former location

The former location is recorded as Naklua Soi 18, later reported at the far end of Soi 16. A 2018 forum thread states that the bar closed in 2014. That thread also carried an unconfirmed reopening rumor, but the record found no current first-party activity or independent 2025–2026 visit evidence.

What replaced it

The verified record does not identify a successor. The surviving map pin and directory page are historical traces and should not be treated as proof that Leo Blues Bar reopened.

The ASEAN NOW discussion starts from the documented 2014 closure and includes a later claim that the bar might return near the end of Soi 16. No operator announcement, current timetable or recent visit in the record confirms that proposal. The Afisha guide supports the older blues-bar identity. Together they preserve the history without supporting a second operating location.

The reopening discussion was started on 2 May 2018 as a question from a member who said they could find nothing after the 2014 closure. It contains no reply documenting a reopened door, new contact or operating schedule. That makes it evidence that the rumour circulated, not evidence that the rumoured venue ever traded.

The visible thread consists of that single opening post, which was edited on the same date. There is no later participant response in the archived topic. This unusually thin record is why the rumoured Soi 16 return cannot be promoted from an unanswered question to a reopening event.
