The former sports-bar identity
A 2009 Pattaya Forum thread placed Pokemon’s Beer Bar in the Central Road area and described a German-managed venue connected with the FC Bayern Fanclub Pattaya. It discussed live Bayern and Bundesliga viewing as well as Formula 1, a theme also reflected in a separately hosted Pattaya nightlife guide.
In 2017, a forum thread reported that the owners had opened Black Pearls near Beach Road and Central Road. A September visitor then described the old Pokemon premises as dark with its televisions removed and doubted that the old bar would continue.
That report does not prove a formal rename, successor relationship or exact closure date. The page therefore preserves the old venue and dated change context without turning inference into current fact.
