A former bar on Jomtien Soi 7

Pupay Beer Bar is best handled as a historical Jomtien record. A July 2023 local account places it on the right shortly after entering Soi 7 from Jomtien Beach Road, next to two simple eateries. A separate photo-led walk through the soi identifies a sign for Pupay Beer Bar and describes Soi 7 as a street with many beer bars, hotels and restaurants.

That is enough to place the venue, but not enough to promise a current night out. In March 2025, a local observer wrote that the bar on the right-hand side of Soi 7 from the beach-road entrance, apparently Pupay, had a going-out-of-business sign dated 31 March. The report did not confirm what followed, and no current operator page, menu or reliable timetable was found.

What the record can and cannot tell you

The location is the useful part: Pupay belonged to the short, bar-focused stretch of Jomtien Soi 7 rather than the main central Pattaya nightlife area. The old sources do not establish its present name, ownership, drinks list or opening hours. Treat any older review or photo as evidence of the former venue, not a live recommendation.

Use Pupay Beer Bar as a reference point when reading older Jomtien Soi 7 accounts. Skip it as a planned stop unless a current sign or operator listing confirms it has reopened under the same name. For a reliable evening, choose a nearby venue with a live contact channel and recently published hours.
