Delirious Bar & Whisky Lounge is a small, friendly bar on Soi Chaiyapoon — the lane off Soi Buakhao that regulars call 'Soi Pothole' — and it stands out for two things: whisky and a warm, ladyboy-run welcome (the 'LB' in the name). For a compact Soi Buakhao bar it takes its spirits seriously, pouring what it advertises as the strongest measures in Pattaya (a full 50ml) at normal prices, with a genuinely wide whisky selection, single malts included, plus the usual beers, cocktails and mixers. It's a hang-out bar rather than a show bar: a free pool table, live sport on the screens, indoor and outdoor seating, and staff used to a mixed, easy-going crowd. It's an LGBTQ+-friendly, ladyboy-hosted spot where English is widely spoken and the pressure is low; there's no food, so eat first. Opening hours run from mid-afternoon (around 3pm) until 2am, so it works both as an early-evening pool-and-a-pint stop and a late one.
