Pattaya Mail reported a serious fire at Star Dice while the disco was closed for renovations. The report says firefighters contained the blaze before it spread to the neighbouring Euro Country Club, but the ceiling, tables, chairs and sound equipment were damaged. No injuries were reported because the venue was locked at the time. This confirms the venue’s Pattaya–Naklua Road identity and gives the page its historical context.
The report dates the alarm to about 2:30 p.m. on 16 April and says five fire engines took roughly an hour to control the blaze. It estimated damage at more than one million baht. Those figures describe that incident only; they are not evidence of the venue’s later condition or the date when the Star Dice name ceased trading.
