Two things to keep in mind: the kitchen keeps daytime hours and tends to wind down in the late afternoon even though the bar carries on, and despite the tavern name this is more a food-and-sport pub than a late-night drinking den. For a relaxed breakfast, a lazy afternoon of sport, or a cheap Mexican plate with a beer, it is a dependable, good-value pick just off the tourist strip.
