Permanently closed
Batong Fishing is the same former venue recorded by Pattaya Fishing as Baetong Fishing Park. The detailed guide says Baetong closed permanently in 2020, and the directory that remains current in 2026 lists it under closed parks. The page is therefore a closure record, not a place to plan a fishing trip.
The historical location was in Central Pattaya at 12.94333, 100.89806. The guide described a roughly 53-by-68-metre pond and listed striped catfish, Mekong giant catfish, rohu, tilapia, silver barb and catla carp. It also mentioned guides, a restaurant and paid fishing arrangements. All of that information is obsolete following closure.
Do not rely on old prices or facilities
The preserved guide includes former prices, rod hire, food rules and take-home fish charges. They should not be treated as current. A June 2021 comment on the page said the site had been bulldozed flat, while the directory’s continued closed-parks classification is the clearest current status signal.
Do not travel there expecting a pond. For an active Pattaya fishing session, choose an operator that publishes current contact details and confirm access, charges and fish availability before setting out.
