Big C Extra Pattaya Klang

Big C Extra on Central Pattaya Road (Pattaya Klang) is the city centre's main hypermarket — the default answer to 'where do I buy everything on day one?'. The Extra format is Big C's bigger, slightly more import-friendly tier, so alongside the usual cheap Thai groceries you'll find a solid fresh-food hall, imported snacks, wine and cheese, plus clothing, electronics, homeware and pharmacy lines under one air-conditioned roof. The surrounding complex adds a HomePro home-improvement store, a cheap Thai food court, banks, phone-repair counters, a Watsons and dozens of small shops and stalls, which makes it a practical one-stop errand run for expats and long-stay visitors. Prices are noticeably lower than convenience stores and tourist-area minimarts, and it's the standard first-day shop for anyone moving into a nearby condo. The store opens daily from morning until around 22:00 (in-complex shops like Watsons run roughly 09:00–21:00; the hypermarket floor itself can open earlier — confirm locally). Getting there is easy: any baht bus running Central Pattaya Road passes the door, and there's plenty of free parking. Note the branch confusion: this is the Pattaya Klang store, distinct from Big C Supercenter near Central Marina in North Pattaya and the Big C in South Pattaya.
