HomePro (short for Home Product Center) is Thailand’s No.1 home-improvement retailer, with dozens of big-box stores nationwide. In the Pattaya area it fills the same role a B&Q, Bunnings or Home Depot plays elsewhere: a single large, air-conditioned store where you can walk in and buy anything from a light bulb to a full fitted kitchen. For the city’s big expat and long-stay community — condo owners, retirees, people setting up a rental — it is one of the genuinely essential “where do I buy…?” addresses, and it is increasingly useful for tourists too when a hotel room is missing a plug adaptor, a beach trip needs a cooler box, or a rental villa needs a replacement fan.

What you’ll find

The store is organised by department, and the range is deep:

• Furniture & furnishings: sofas, beds, mattresses, wardrobes, desks, dining sets, plus bedding, curtains and rugs.
• Kitchen & bathroom: built-in kitchens, sinks, taps, toilets, showers, water heaters and tiling.
• Appliances: fridges, washing machines, air-conditioners, fans, kitchen appliances and TVs, including HomePro’s own-brand lines at lower prices.
• Tools & DIY hardware: power tools, hand tools, fixings, plumbing and electrical parts, paint and ladders.
• Lighting & electrical: ceiling and wall lights, LED bulbs, extension leads and adaptors.

Branches in Pattaya

There are two branches locals use:

• Central Pattaya (Big C Extra): inside the Big C Extra complex on Central Pattaya Road (Pattaya Klang), 333 Moo 9, Nong Prue — the most convenient for the centre, Soi Buakhao and the condo belt. Phone +66 33 141 033.
• North Pattaya / Na Kluea: a larger standalone store at 384/40 Moo 6, Na Kluea, handy for the north of the city and Wongamat, open daily 9am–9pm.

Both carry the full range; the North Pattaya store is the bigger of the two.

Services that matter

What separates HomePro from a simple hardware shop is the service layer. The chain offers home delivery, professional installation of appliances and fixtures, air-conditioner cleaning, and a paid Home Service team for repairs, plumbing, electrical work and general handyman jobs — booked in store or online. For an expat furnishing a condo without a car or a network of tradesmen, this is the reason to shop here rather than piece things together around town.

Getting there

Both branches are out-of-centre big-box stores, so plan transport. The Big C Extra branch is on Central Pattaya Road, reachable by baht bus or a short Grab/Bolt hop from the centre; the Na Kluea branch is a Grab or scooter ride north. Both have on-site parking. Good to know

Prices are fixed and labelled — no haggling — and staff are used to walk-in retail, with an English speaker usually available at the service desk for deliveries and installations. Foreign passport holders can ask about VAT refund paperwork on qualifying purchases if they are leaving Thailand. Hours run roughly 9am–9pm daily but can change on public holidays, so confirm before a special trip.
