National Car Rental once had a central-Pattaya counter at Tipp Plaza on Pattaya Beach Road. The surviving SoiDB listing gives 219/1-3 Moo 10, a +66 38 416 125 telephone number and daily 08:00–20:00 hours. Its own timestamps, however, show that the entry was created and last updated on 1 March 2014. Those details are useful for resolving an old recommendation, but not for arranging car hire now.
The current official National Thailand location finder provides the key update. It lists seven locations in Thailand: Bangkok’s airports, Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Krabi, Phuket and Samui. Pattaya is not listed. That does not establish the precise date the Tipp Plaza counter stopped operating, but it does mean the historical Beach Road record should not be treated as an active National branch.
What to do instead
Do not travel to the old Tipp Plaza address expecting a National desk, and do not plan around the 2014 timetable or telephone number. Start with National’s official location finder and choose a currently listed branch before making any payment or travel plan. If Pattaya is essential, book with a provider that confirms a live Pattaya collection point in writing.
Practical recommendation
This page is for tracing an old location, not for present-day rental shopping. For a trip requiring a specific pickup time, skip saved maps and old hotel advice: confirm the collection address, deposit terms, insurance excess and return procedure in the reservation confirmation before leaving for the counter.
