Pattaya Secondhand Books is a historical bookshop record for Pattaya Tai Soi 20, near Tukcom and the Buakhao market square. It began as Pattaya Beach Books before taking the later name. Its listed website did not load when checked in July 2026, so the record cannot confirm that the shop still trades.
What the older reports say
In 2014, Pattaya forum contributors described the new shop as a replacement for a smaller Tops location. A visitor gave directions from Pattaya Tai into Soi 20 and reported a 10:00–18:00 notice on the door. Another account said it had room for substantially more books than the former premises.
By January 2015, a forum member identified the shop as Pattaya Second Hand Books and linked its website. Other contributors described it near the Tuesday and Friday market, with yellow screening on the windows. These are useful wayfinding clues for the old record, not evidence of current opening hours, stock or contact details.
Practical recommendation
This is worth keeping for anyone following a dated bookshop recommendation in South Pattaya. Do not rely on the old website, numbers or timetable: confirm the business is open before setting out, especially if it is a dedicated trip for a specific title.
