Villa Market is Pattaya's branch of Thailand's original international supermarket chain, anchoring the ground floor of The Avenue mall on Second Road. For expats and long-stayers it is the default answer to 'where do I find real cheese / decent wine / Marmite / Mexican spices': the aisles lean heavily on imported goods — European and American groceries, a proper deli and cheese counter, imported meats, wines and craft beers, plus organic lines and the fresh produce basics. Prices reflect the import duties; expect to pay well above Big C or Lotus's for anything foreign, which is exactly the trade Villa customers accept for range you cannot get elsewhere in central Pattaya. It keeps long hours — roughly 7am to 1am daily — and the location is convenient, with The Avenue's parking, a cluster of restaurants in the same complex and Second Road songthaews outside. Tourists in self-catering condos use it for breakfast supplies and wine; expats treat it as a weekly staple alongside cheaper Thai supermarkets.
