What PADO is

PADO calls itself Pattaya's first immersive media art experience, combining light, sound and interaction. Instead of objects in cases, each hall is a projected scene you walk into: its site describes a space that shows the birth of life in light, a cube-shaped room where flowers bloom on every surface with scents in the air, and a forest of fireflies. The name means "wave" in Korean, and the company says it wants to share Korean culture.

It is indoors and air-conditioned, which makes it a fit for a hot afternoon or a wet day: see things to do when it rains for others.

Tickets and opening hours

Tickets are priced by height, not age. On 14 October 2026 the site showed:

The general promotion’s end date and full eligibility are unconfirmed, so check the price when you book. Opening hours are 10:00–21:00; ticket purchase and last admission end at 20:00. Each free child below 95 cm needs one ticketed adult. These cutoff and accompaniment terms were checked on 25 October 2026; actual hall availability remains unknown.

Halls closed for maintenance

In October 2026 the site carried a notice that some halls may be closed for inspection and maintenance and some areas temporarily unavailable. Ask which halls are open before you pay, especially if one room is the reason you are going.

Getting there

The address is in Naklua, the north end of the city: see Naklua for the area. Give a taxi or ride-hailing driver the full address, and see getting around Pattaya for rides.

Who it suits

It suits families with young children, since under 95 cm is free, couples and anyone who wants an hour or two out of the heat. It suits you less if you want history or local culture: for that, see temples and culture.
