The Balkan dishes are the reason to detour
Chill Inn Restaurant is a small dining room attached to a six-room guesthouse on Soi Buakhao. Its menu ranges across breakfast, Thai and familiar international food, but those categories are easy to find elsewhere in Central Pattaya. The compelling reason to come is the Balkan section, especially cevapcici, pljeskavica and grilled sausages.
Cevapcici are seasoned minced-meat rolls cooked over heat and usually eaten with bread, onion, salad or creamy accompaniments. Recent guests repeatedly identify them as the house speciality. A September 2025 Tripadvisor review called the version a reason the place was popular; an August visit praised bacon-wrapped cevapcici served with flatbread, fries, salad and two dips. In December, another diner liked the spicy pljeskavica, a larger grilled meat patty, for its taste, portion and value.
Those reports are more useful than a generic claim that the restaurant serves “international food.” They describe a kitchen with an actual point of view. Travelers who have eaten in Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia or neighbouring countries will recognise the grill-first comfort-food approach. Newcomers get an accessible introduction: meat, bread and sides rather than an unfamiliar formal meal. A shared order also lets a couple compare the smaller rolls with the larger patty.
The rest of the menu provides insurance for mixed groups. The official site shows separate breakfast, soup and pasta, Balkan and international, Thai, salad and dessert sections. Someone who does not want grilled meat can still eat with the group. Recent breakfast feedback is mixed but informative: a May 2026 guest found the farang breakfast generous and decent, yet could not finish it and described one server as inattentive. That is more credible than pretending every section is equally strong.
Google reviewers rate the combined restaurant and guesthouse 4.4/5 across 678 reviews (July 2026). Tripadvisor’s much smaller lodging page shows 4.2/5 from 19 reviews. Use the large Google aggregate as the primary rating, then read recent written reports for specifics. The score combines meals and stays, so it does not isolate the kitchen.
A guesthouse dining room, not a polished bistro
The setting is central but modest. The address is 64/86 Soi Buakhao, inside Pattaya’s busy entertainment district. It works for people already staying nearby or moving between Tree Town, LK Metro and the surrounding bars. A traveler crossing the city solely for dinner should call +66 96 862 0949 first because the restaurant does not publish a dependable weekly schedule.
Live prices are also absent. A Tripadvisor review from 2023 mentioned ฿220 for cevapcici, but that figure is not current enough to promise in 2026. Expect affordable-to-midrange local pricing, supported by recent value comments, with the board or menu at the table settling the actual bill. Ask about portion size before ordering several grilled dishes; the generous servings are a repeated strength in recent reviews.
The dining room is connected physically and operationally to the guesthouse. An Agoda guest who stayed nine nights in November 2025 said room access passed through the restaurant while it was open and used a security card after hours. The same review reported only six rooms and warned that late hotel check-in could fail after restaurant staffing ended. Diners do not need to worry about room access, but the arrangement explains why the place feels more like a personal guesthouse restaurant than a fully staffed standalone venue.
That informality has downsides. A 2024 Tripadvisor guest complained that smoking was common even near no-smoking signs and that the half-open room did not protect non-smokers. One report cannot establish the atmosphere every day, but the layout makes the warning plausible. If smoke ruins a meal, look inside before ordering and choose another restaurant if the tables around you are already occupied by smokers.
Parking is another weak point. A recent German Tripadvisor review said motorcycles were manageable but car parking was effectively unavailable. Walking, a motorbike taxi or an app ride is simpler than circling Soi Buakhao. The central location means many customers will not need a vehicle at all.
For attached-room guests, Agoda’s late-2025 account adds a separate noise warning: surrounding music was loud from roughly 23:00 to 04:00. That should not affect an ordinary dinner, but it matters if the restaurant inspires you to book upstairs. Rooms are inexpensive and convenient for nightlife, not a quiet extension of the meal.
The site accepts reservation requests, though the small room rarely calls for formal planning at an ordinary hour. Booking makes sense for a group focused on the Balkan menu. Solo diners and couples can usually treat it as a casual stop, provided they first confirm the kitchen is open.
Verdict: a strong value meal with a narrow speciality
This is one of the more distinctive casual kitchens around Soi Buakhao because it offers dishes that are scarce elsewhere in Pattaya. Order cevapcici or pljeskavica, judge the restaurant on the grill, and let the Thai and international pages solve disagreements around the table. Recent praise supports both portion size and value without requiring an invented current price.
The experience is less convincing for non-smokers on a busy night, drivers needing a car park or anyone expecting polished bistro service. Call for hours, inspect the semi-open room and avoid relying on old menu figures. With those expectations set, the Balkan food provides a real reason to visit rather than another interchangeable Central Pattaya meal.

Frequently asked questions
What should I order at Chill Inn Restaurant?
Start with cevapcici or spicy pljeskavica. Recent diners also praised bacon-wrapped cevapcici with flatbread, fries, salad and dips.
What are Chill Inn Restaurant's hours?
Current restaurant hours are not published clearly. Call +66 96 862 0949 before making a special trip or planning a late meal.
How much does it cost?
Live prices are not published publicly. Recent guests call the portions good value, but check the menu at the restaurant rather than relying on old breakfast or cevapcici prices.
Is it only for hotel guests?
No. The restaurant accepts walk-in diners and advertises table reservations, while a small guesthouse operates in the same building.
Is the dining room non-smoking?
Do not assume so. A 2024 Tripadvisor guest reported smokers in the semi-open restaurant, so non-smokers should inspect the room before ordering.
