Octagon appears in sources under two closely related identities. OpenStreetMap records Octagon @ Sea as a restaurant at 12.8855843, 100.878688 on Jomtien First Road. A 2019 guest review of Grand Jomtien Palace also referred to an Octagon restaurant attached to the hotel. Those records establish a real historical connection between the venue name, dining, and the seafront hotel property.

Current hotel directories use a slightly different label: both Expedia and Hotels.com include Octagon Bar among the hotel’s on-site facilities. In contrast, Restaurant Guru marks its dedicated OCTAGON listing as permanently closed. These statements cannot be cleanly combined into a single confident status. The former restaurant may have closed while a hotel bar retained the name, the concept may have changed, or one directory may be stale.

Location and access

The map coordinate is on Jomtien First Road, at the Grand Jomtien Palace site near the beach. That is more specific than searching Pattaya for Octagon, a generic name that can appear in unrelated hospitality listings.
