There is no Sushi Masa in Jomtien or Pattaya

Verify the restaurant identity carefully before relying on similarly named listings.

To be straight with you: there is no Sushi Masa restaurant in Jomtien or anywhere in Pattaya. We had it listed in error, and we’d rather correct that than describe a restaurant that isn’t here.

What Sushi Masa actually is

Sushi Masa (ซูชิ มาสะ) is a Bangkok-only Japanese chain. Its branches are in Bangkok neighbourhoods such as Ratchathewi, Thonglor and Ruamrudi, plus the Masa Garden offshoot on Sukhumvit 39. None of them is in Jomtien or Pattaya. If you specifically want the Sushi Masa chain, you’ll find it up in Bangkok.

Real sushi in Jomtien

The KTC restaurant list also places Sushi Masa branches in Bangkok. Do not confuse that chain with Otaru Masazushi’s MASA, whose official Thai site gives an ICONSIAM address in Bangkok; similar names are a reason to check the exact brand and address before travelling.

The good news: Jomtien has plenty of genuine Japanese and sushi options. On the strip, Ozawa Ramen is a reliable local favourite; the D Varee Jomtien Beach hotel runs the DaRe Sushi bar; and Tsunami Sushi is a well-known Jomtien buffet. Any of them is a real, trading alternative for sushi in Jomtien.

Identity boundary

The Wongnai chain page and KTC list support the Bangkok-only chain identity, while the official Masa site concerns the separately named Otaru Masazushi brand. The local restaurant directory is useful for alternative discovery, not proof that Sushi Masa has a Jomtien branch. Match the exact brand and address before travelling.

The useful booking detail is therefore a negative one: there is no Pattaya address, Pattaya timetable or Pattaya reservation route to rely on for Sushi Masa. The branch names in the retained Bangkok evidence and the separately named MASA site give travellers two identity checks before committing to a trip.
