About

Sushi Plus is a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant on the 3rd floor of Terminal 21 Pattaya, in the mall’s San Francisco-themed zone. It is the Pattaya branch of the Sushi Plus chain — the premium-leaning sister brand to the ubiquitous Sushi Express — and it delivers exactly what conveyor-belt sushi promises: cheap, fast, no-fuss Japanese food that suits a shopping break or a casual family lunch far more than a special night out.

How it works

Plates ride past your seat on the belt, colour-coded by price — usually 30, 40 and 60 baht each — and you take whatever catches your eye. A 10% service charge is added to the bill at the end. If you don’t want to wait for something specific to come round, there’s tablet or phone ordering for made-to-order nigiri, maki rolls and hot dishes, which are brought to your table. It’s a slick, self-directed system that’s easy even if you’ve never done conveyor-belt sushi before.

What to expect on the belt

The line-up is the familiar conveyor spread: salmon and tuna nigiri, California and salmon rolls, tamago (sweet egg), gunkan with roe, tempura pieces, plus a rotating cast of hot bites and small desserts. This is value sushi, so manage expectations on freshness and craft — it’s consistent and perfectly pleasant, not artisan omakase. For under a few hundred baht a head it’s one of the better-value ways to eat sushi in North Pattaya.

Getting there

Terminal 21 sits on Second Road in North Pattaya, near the dolphin roundabout end. Baht buses run right past on the Second Road loop; a Grab or Bolt drops you at the mall entrance. There’s a large car park if you’re driving. Once inside, take the escalators or lifts to the 3rd floor and follow the signs to the restaurant zone.

Good to know

It’s busiest at weekend lunchtimes and early evening when the mall is full, so you may queue briefly for a belt-side seat at peak times. If your group can’t agree on sushi, the 3rd-floor and food-court dining at Terminal 21 gives everyone a fallback within a couple of minutes’ walk.

Full overview

Sushi Plus is a premium-grade conveyor-belt sushi restaurant on the 3rd floor of Terminal 21 Pattaya, in the mall's San Francisco-themed zone. It is the eastern-seaboard branch of the Sushi Plus chain (the upmarket sister brand of Sushi Express), and it works the way conveyor-belt sushi always does: plates circle past your seat colour-coded by price — typically 30, 40 and 60 baht a plate — and you grab what you fancy, with a 10% service charge added at the end. There is also tablet/phone ordering for made-to-order nigiri, rolls, and hot dishes if you would rather not wait for something to come round. It is fast, cheap, family-friendly and reliable rather than a destination sushi experience: fine for a quick lunch or a fill-up while shopping, not a special-occasion Japanese meal. Prices starting at 30 baht a plate make it one of the better-value sushi options in North Pattaya, and being inside Terminal 21 means air-conditioning, easy parking and a food-court's worth of alternatives if the kids or the group can't agree. Expect it to be busiest at weekend lunchtimes and early evening when the mall fills up.

Record highlights

  • Genuinely cheap for sushi — conveyor plates from around 30 baht, a rarity in tourist Pattaya
  • Fast, casual and family-friendly, with tablet ordering for made-to-order items
  • Inside Terminal 21: air-con, easy parking, and plenty of backup options if tastes differ

Check before relying

  • Conveyor-belt sushi is about value and speed, not top-tier freshness or craft
  • The 10% service charge and per-plate pricing add up quickly if you graze
  • Mall setting is functional, not atmospheric — you're eating in a shopping centre
